Getting there

By air

While the hotel does not provide transportation from the airport, there is a Super Shuttle that serves the hotel. This is an independent company, and arrangements must be made prior to travel, either online at www.supershuttle.com or by phone, 1-800-BLUE-VAN.

A less expensive alternative is the 28X Flyer (Pittsburgh Port Authority Bus), which costs only $3.75 one-way. It will drop you off about a five-minute or less walk from the Wyndham Hotel. Two recommended stops: either Forbes Ave. at Schenley Dr. (University of Pittsburgh) or two stops later, S. Bellefield Ave. at Fifth Ave (Mellon Institute). There is another stop that is closer (Fifth Ave. at Tennyson), but the bus first makes a loop with about 10 additional stops (or 15 more minutes).

Taxi service will cost approximately $65.00 each way.
